Flow & Pressure Testing in accordance with BS9990 2006 (inc BS5306 Part 1)
The standard outlines the level of service fire hydrants should be maintained to and allow it to meet the demands imposed in the event of a fire. Fire Hydrant flow testing and condition assessment is essential to ensure their optimum performance at all times, and provides evidence of compliance with your fire certificate.
The fire hydrant testing procedure involves logging the pressure and establishing the maximum sustainable flow rate from each fire hydrant. The condition of each fire hydrant and associated chamber is assessed and recorded in accordance with the BS: 9990 inspection criteria

WHO WE'VE WORKED WITH
WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY
Fire Protection Ireland completed a number of projects in our hotels, they recently completed installation of a new fire detection and alarm system in the Hilton Garden Inn hotel , they carried out the works while the hotel was still occupied with no disruption to either guests or staff, we found all their engineers to be very professional and courteous and they completed the project within the time agreed. We have since contracted Fire Protection Ireland to service and maintain all Our Republic of Ireland Hotels.
John Corroon, Maintenance Manager
